I am an avid amateur gardener and garden historian, with a particular interest in the history of formal garden design. Below you can find some of the ways these interests manifest for me. In 2026, I became a certified Master Gardener through the University of Connecticut Extension Office and have had the opportunity to volunteer at several historic gardens in Connecticut since then.
Photographic Documentation of American Gardens
I maintain a set of images that document historic American gardens that I have visited. I began this collection in 2020 and have plans to eventually donate it to an institution one day. The collection contains many photographs of gardens in the Northeast (especially Connecticut) and the Midwest. For now, selections can be found on my Flickr account linked below.
